How much is the down payment, and do I get it back?
The $335.00 amount is a refundable security hold due with your application. You can pay it in full or split it into two $167.50 payments: one now and one at vehicle pickup.
Once approved, the hold is credited toward your first week's payment.
Is the insurance add-on required?
No. The $25.00-per-week add-on is optional and does not replace your required insurance. You must maintain personal auto liability and comprehensive and collision coverage, plus applicable TNC/rideshare coverage when using the vehicle for gig work.
FlexFleet must be named as additional insured and loss payee on your policy.
What do I need to qualify for lease-to-own?
Drivers must be at least 21, have a current valid driver's license, complete an MVR and background check, and maintain the required personal insurance and applicable TNC/rideshare coverage. A clean record is preferred, and review is at FlexFleet's discretion. The application materials say FlexFleet checks your driving record, not your credit score.
For a lease-to-own request, the selected vehicle must be marked lease-to-own eligible, and you must complete at least 4 rental weeks before applying.
Is there a weekly mileage cap?
There is no weekly mileage cap. Mileage is unlimited within Georgia. Travel outside Georgia requires FlexFleet's prior written consent.
Is roadside assistance or towing included if the vehicle breaks down?
The rental terms do not specify an included roadside assistance or towing benefit. Drivers handle routine maintenance and repairs. Major mechanical failures not caused by misuse are reviewed case by case.
Report a serious problem to FlexFleet immediately so the issue can be documented and you can get guidance on next steps. Do not assume roadside or towing costs are covered.
