How does ownership work?+
Each weekly Cash App payment you make accumulates toward the vehicle's original balance (set by the vehicle owner). Once that balance is paid in full, you can request ownership transfer — FlexFleet reviews and approves the transfer in writing. You're then added as the registered owner on the title.
What insurance do I need?+
You must maintain three coverages at your own expense: (1) personal auto liability insurance, (2) comprehensive and collision coverage, and (3) a TNC/rideshare endorsement if you use the vehicle for delivery or passenger services. FlexFleet must be named as additional insured and loss payee on the policy.
What happens if I miss a payment?+
Two consecutive missed weekly payments triggers default. Upon default: ALL prior payments are forfeited (no equity, no refund), the vehicle is repossessed, and the lease agreement is terminated. There is no grace period for consecutive misses beyond the 48-hour per-payment grace period.
What are the payment terms?+
Payments are weekly — not monthly — to align with gig pay cycles. 48-hour grace period per payment. $25 late fee per failed payment. $35 fee per failed transaction. If your insurance lapses for more than 7 days, that's an automatic default.
Can I buy out the vehicle early?+
You can pay down the balance faster — there is no penalty for early payoff. However, ownership transfer still requires FlexFleet's written approval. Contact us when you're ready to initiate the transfer process.
How do I make Cash App payments?+
Send weekly payments to $FlexFleet on Cash App. Include your driver ID or agreement number in the payment memo so we can track it against your balance. Payments are due every 7 days from the day your agreement starts. A 48-hour grace period applies per payment — $25 late fee for failed payments, $35 fee for failed transactions.
Who handles vehicle maintenance and repairs?+
You are responsible for routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections) and all repairs during the lease term. Keep all service receipts — they may be reviewed at ownership transfer. Major mechanical failures not caused by misuse are reviewed case-by-case. Report any serious issues to us immediately so we can document the situation and advise on next steps.
What happens if the vehicle gets damaged or in an accident?+
Report it to us within 24 hours and file a claim with your auto insurance immediately. Your comprehensive/collision coverage handles repairs. FlexFleet must be named as loss payee so insurance payouts flow through us. If the vehicle is totaled, your agreement enters termination — prior payments are not refunded, and the remaining balance may be owed depending on the insurance payout. Keep driving after an accident without notifying us — that's a violation that can trigger default.
Can I use the vehicle for Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, and Amazon Flex simultaneously?+
Yes — as long as you maintain the required TNC/rideshare endorsement on your insurance policy. The endorsement must cover all platforms you use. Georgia has no mileage cap within state boundaries, so you can maximize earning potential. Insurance must remain active and must not lapse more than 7 days or it triggers automatic default of your lease agreement.
